⚕️ Siddha-Specific Activities and Achievements
- Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush) / Health & Wellness Centres (AAM): 650 dispensaries upgraded as AAM; funding allocated for 307 Siddha wings in PHCs.
- Integrated AYUSH Hospitals: Five 50-bedded AYUSH Hospitals sanctioned in districts like Theni, Tiruvannamalai, and Chennai (with some under construction).
- AYUSH Educational Institutions: Funding approved for Siddha Medical College in Palani, Dindigul District.
- Co-location of Facilities: Siddha and other AYUSH systems co-located at 900 health facilities (37 District Hospitals, 388 CHCs, 475 PHCs).
- Drug Quality: Support for strengthening ASU&H Pharmacies and Drug Testing Laboratories for quality assurance.
- Public Health Schemes: Implementation of schemes like "
மகாபெà®°ு சஞ்சீவி பெட்டகம் " for pregnant/lactating mothers and "இளம் தளிà®°் Immuno Kit" for school health. - Research: CCRS conducts extensive Siddha research at Chennai, Mettur, and Palayamkottai on conditions like Diabetes, Urolithiasis, and COVID-19 response.
